When I began my personal art journey, I was frustrated by ambiguous concepts, and the lack of a simplified roadmap. I got bored with the fundamentals and became an unhealthy perfectionist.

That’s why I designed Drawcademy - to make drawing intuitive, and approachable. To provide a mentorship for overcoming self-doubt, and develop growth mindsets.

FAQs.

Our youngest students are 10, and our oldest are 50+. The only requirement is the ability to follow along in a live class.
It depends. If they’re 8 or 9, and a little savvy, they’ll probably be fine. There are no hard rules here. The question is, can they follow along for an hour long class? You as the parent know better than we do!
Learning to draw is gonna take time. Homework is encouraged, but no required. We provide a dedicated time and place to draw. That means more practice and improvement during class.
Trick question - our classes are year round, and are designed for students to join anytime.

Absolutely. Though we don’t recommend it. Learning with traditional media teaches good habits.
Typically we want you to focus on pencils first, because solid drafting abilities is so valuable for everything else.
One-on-one students have the luxury of unlimited possibilities. You can discuss this directly with your instructor.
Currently, the group classes are only taught with pencils.
Nope! Billing is every 4 weeks. So you’re locked in for 4 classes at a time, but otherwise cancel anytime. Simply let your instructor know, and they’ll stop the billing.
