You Will Create Many Bad Drawings.

▸ A perfect drawing has never been accomplished in the history of art. Instead, focus on learning & enjoying the process. The score takes care of itself.

▸ Quantity leads to quality & at Drawcademy, you’ll draw a lot.

▸ In the face of perfectionism, 1/10 drawings might feel like a big deal, but 1/10,000 is a drop in the bucket.

▸ Made a bad drawing? Awesome effort. Time for the next one!

The Purpose Is To Have Fun, Learn New Things & Be Challenged.

▸ It is okay to feel frustrated or self conscious.

▸ If you say something not nice to yourself while drawing, note it simply as a thought, then continue to draw.

▸ If you spot a mistake, congrats - that means you’ve learned something new!

▸ We have small & a tall art horse desks; Both fit all sizes, kids & adults.

▸ These professional art seats prevent distortion in your artwork.

▸ We recommend the clipboard rest in your lap so the drawing board is closer to you.

Make Up Your Missed Lesson.

▸ Missed classes may be made up within the same week, in-person or online.

▸ If not attended by the end of the week, the lesson cannot not be made up - but we will always post slides & notes from the class, and are happy to assist on the online platform with questions.

▸ It is extremely helpful if you text us if you will be absent, or will attend a different cohort than usual.
